Holiday Inn Express San Francisco-Airport South by IHG

An older building, but appears to be somewhat recently renovated. New decor, bathrooms, etc. In room safe and fridge Has a pool Has free breakfast. 2 miles from airport for convenience. Restaurant in front. Wonderful staff.

Right next to Max's restaurant, which is wonderful, a short walk away, and really convenient if you're laying over to catch a flight. Typical 3 star hotel, in general, but with really cool multi-level lobby area/dining. Very Mid-Century Modern, and nice views of the bay. Rooms have all the usual stuff, but the bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated, and very nice. Decor is a bit dated, and the hallways feel very institutional, but still not bad. Hot breakfast is typical for these hotels, and good enough when you're in a rush.

I have been waiting for the shuttle for an hour and keep being told it’s 5 minutes away. I have seen every other hotel shuttle 3 times. The whole reason I am staying here is because I wanted to quickly get to a hotel after a long flight and there was a free shuttle. Update: I called at 2:25 and was dropped off right at 4 Second update: breakfast was soooo good well done and the receptionist was really nice and apologetic. The rooms are really big and comfortable too but the wifi was not good

My boyfriend, I and two friends stayed here for three nights for the sbkz congress and we had a great time. The staff is really nice, the complimentary breakfast was good and the location was perfect for us. I was surprised that we had a microwave in our room, it's rare to see and it was a great addition. For breakfast they always had eggs, turkey, bacon, cereal, fruit, pancakes, juice, muffins and English muffins, it was nice. Breakfast is from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30, but the coffee was available all day . By staying here we also got 10% off at the restaurant in front. We used that twice. Check out is noon. The staff was really nice, the AC worked well, and I liked that they had a good area to work from if needed. They also had a pool, but we didn't use it since it was November when we went. Really nice view of the water as well. Will definitely stay here again!

I stayed for two nights last week at the Holiday Inn San Francisco Airport South. Kathy was incredibly friendly and helpful—she even went out of her way to give me coins for my laundry. She’s the best! I loved the 24/7 Sundry store, which offered a wide variety of items for immediate convenience. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the view behind the hotel was beautiful. The only minor downside was a bit of airplane noise, though it wasn’t too disruptive. The hotel is just five minutes from the international airport, and I used their free shuttle service. The breakfast spread was also quite good.

I had a one night stay on 11/21/25 and man I tell you! It was such an amazing stay. The front desk ladies were very friendly, they showed compassion in their job, it was all smiles and a warm welcome for my family and I. It's nice to see that the front desk manager; Fili is very interacting with guests and her co workers. You don't see management come out and interact like that often. Kathy was amazing as well. Kathy and Fili both made it possible for my family and I to enjoy our stay, we will definitely be staying again for our next family vacation next year.

What a gem of a hotel. When you arrive at night after being left by your international flight , u may have impression that this is also going to be a disappointment experience… however nothing is farther from the truth! My room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. Waking up was such a joy to a beautiful waterfront sunrise! Then the breakfast was so good and refreshing after a stressful airport experience. The staff the entire staff was friendly personable and hard working. There is a shuttle to the airport . I was able to walk to enterprise car rental to take a day excursion. This place is the best !!!! A pure refuge.

I missed a connecting flight to Australia, due to weather delays. United Airlines gave me a complimentary stay at one of 3 hotels. I chose this Holiday Inn Express and I must say, I certainly choose the perfect place to rest and recuperate. Complimentary shuttle to and from SFO. Front desk staff are outstanding and genuinely helpful. This is a very nice place to stay, honestly. I actually stayed at the same brand hotel in Dubai and found the quality and experience to be much the same as here at this hotel in San Francisco. To add merit to my review.. I've been to 79 countries and 50 states and this was a memorable place to stay that I will return to next time I have a layover at SFO.
